NXBits Payments News aims to publish accurate, clear and useful payment-industry coverage. Because payment rules, product details, market data and regulatory positions can change quickly, we maintain this Corrections Policy to explain how factual concerns are reviewed.
What can be corrected
Correction requests may relate to factual errors, dates, names, figures, links, source attribution, regulatory references, company descriptions, product availability, quotation handling or context that materially affects reader understanding.
Differences of opinion, commercial disagreement, preference for a different headline, or dissatisfaction with analysis do not automatically require a correction. However, if analysis relies on an incorrect fact or omits material context, we will review it in good faith.
How to request a correction
Email correction requests to info@nxbits.com. Include the article URL, the exact passage or claim you believe is inaccurate, the correction you believe is needed, and any supporting source material such as official documents, regulator notices, company statements, filings or other verifiable evidence.
Please include enough context for us to understand the issue. If you represent a company or organization mentioned in an article, please state your role and whether you are writing on behalf of that organization.
Review process
We review correction requests based on evidence, relevance, publication context and the materiality of the issue. We may check the original source, consult additional public sources, request clarification, update links, revise wording or leave the article unchanged if the request is unsupported.
Where a correction is warranted, we aim to address it promptly. Timing may vary depending on the complexity of the issue, source availability, public-interest considerations and whether legal, regulatory or technical review is needed.
Types of changes
Correction. A correction fixes a material factual error that could mislead readers.
Clarification. A clarification improves wording or context where the original text was incomplete, ambiguous or easy to misunderstand.
Update. An update adds new information after publication, such as a regulatory development, company response, status change or corrected link.
Removal. Removal is reserved for exceptional cases, such as legal requirement, serious factual defect, privacy concern, security risk or material that no longer meets publication standards.
Transparency
For material changes, we may add an update note, correction note or revised timestamp. Minor fixes such as typos, formatting, broken links or grammar corrections may be made without a formal note when they do not alter meaning.
We do not promise to preserve every version of every article publicly, but we may retain internal editorial records for accountability, legal, archival or operational reasons.
